When we choose to sin, our father-child relationship with God is not affected, but our fellowship with Him is negatively affected. An example of this is your relationship with your earthly father; it’s permanent. No matter what you do, you will always remain his child. In the same way, our Heavenly Father is also permanently our Father after we have chosen to accept Jesus as King of our lives.
